MIFF- Advanced Style

I've been a complete failure at attending the Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) this year, only managing to catch a film on the last day of the festival.  However, it was one I was really interested in seeing- the documentary Advanced Style.  Based on Ari Seth Cohen's blog of the same name, it focuses on some of the stylish older women from New York City that he has photographed for his blog.  I found it interesting to learn about their backgrounds and how their personal style has developed and evolved over the years.  The film also challenges the notion that fashion is only for the very young.  These women have a wonderful spirit and are a true inspiration to live your life the way you want to no matter what your age.
