I absolutely agree! You know what I love about Conan sans writers? It harkens back to the old school days. Back when Conan was with Andy, and the sketches and bits were not so polished, but still dang funny.
I'm hoping that while they are thinned out, that they will start to reexamine what really is funny, and realize that sometimes, many times, it's nice to NOT have the polish. I'm voting for a little tarnish and pure wackiness!
Yes, it is good to have the wackiness and absurdity back in Late Night. Conan is best when he is reacting to situations as they happen. The writers have gotten lazy and this strike break might be just what they need to revitalize the show.
